Our staff are also fluent in a number of European, Middle Eastern and Asian languages including Macedonian, Italian, Arabic, Indian and Tagalog.
Dr Priti Rosemary Phillipos, Dentist
Dr Phillipos is an experienced General Practitioner Dentist and the principal of Care For Smiles. She is passionate about her profession with interests including Children's Dentistry, Special Need's Dentistry, Root Canal Treatments, Cosmetic Dentistry and Minor Oral Surgery. She is a firm believer in Preventive Dentistry and timely intervention for preservation of teeth. She takes pride in offering the best dental care in a relaxed atmosphere for patients of all ages.
Dr Phillipos can communicate in a number of European, Middle Eastern and Indian languages.
Dr Phillipos is a member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA).
Dental Nurses
Ane
Ane is a diligent young mother with a pleasant and compassionate personality. Ane has worked with Dr Phillipos for more than five years. She is fluent in Macedonian and also acts as our Practice Manager.
Ane usually works Mon, Tue, Thurs and Fri mornings.
Debra
Debra is a young mother, experienced in private and public dentistry. Debra has an interest in guiding parents about oral hygiene for children. She has worked with Dr Phillipos for ten years.
Debra usually works Tues afternoons, Wed mornings and alternate Saturday mornings.
Stef
Stef is studying nursing at Latrobe University and works as suits her studies. Stef is also a personal trainer and has promised to get us all fit.
Margot
Margot is an experienced dental nurse and has previously worked with Dr Phillipos for more than 10 years. Margot is also fluent in Tagalog.
Margot works alternate Saturday Mornings.
Renee
Renee is studying nursing at Latrobe University and works on a casual basis at Care For Smiles to fit in with her university studies.
Divya
Divya is completing a Dental Nursing Certificate and works on a part-time basis at Care For Smiles, usually on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesday. Divya is also fluent in the Hindi and Tamil Indian Languages.
Oral Health Therapist
Maisa is a young Oral Health Therapist, specialising in treating younger children and providing ongoing maintenance care for patients. Maisa and Dr Phillipos have worked together for two years. Maisa also practices in a community health centre. Maisa will start at Care For Smiles later in the year to provide continuing maintenance care for patients.
Mr Chuckles
Mr Chuckles is an important member of our team. Although he doesn't say much he provides support and comfort to all, both young and young at heart. Mr Chuckles likes having his picture taken and posted on the Care For Smiles facebook page.
Mr Chuckles is always available to give comfort and support.
