Scared to go to the Dentist?

Feeling scared to go to the Dentist ? Care For Smiles understand the play of complex emotions – come in and have a chat with us – it is important to feel comfortable with your care provider and have a rapport with them – makes the process easier.
“…..Thanks for everything.
You were all very kind and made the experience of ‘seeing the dentist’ much less scary! Thanks for being so understanding.
This whole situation with the wisdom teeth has brought up so many emotional issues in the last few days, isn’t it amazing the emotions we hold in our bodies!
I think I’m finally ready to deal with things now and i’ll… be happy to hear your thoughts on the bigger picture of my mouth once things are calmed down.
The matter of ‘fixing’ the look of my teeth is something i’ll need to think about very deeply – I would like to hear your thoughts and professional opinion and have a greater understanding of the potential health/cosmetic benefits.
But as you say, this is for a later date. Better focus on the matter at hand! I will definitely let you know once these wisdom teeth are out and healed and we can start to sort through some of the other issues, obviously starting with the fillings etc! “

Chewing a sugar free gum can has a beneficial effect on oral hygiene by stimulating the production of saliva, which neutralizes the plaque acids that cause tooth decay. Chewing sugarfree gum three times a day can reduce the risk of dental caries by 40%.

Chewing a sugarfree gum for 20 minutes after eating provides the best results.

A time to sing and dance

Whilst making the next Dental appointment for Helen (65), she said Mondays and Wednesdays were not good for her. “I have Singing and Dancing lessons”.

We asked her if she is a teacher.

“No”, she said. She was now taking singing and dancing lessons, something she had wanted to do since she was a child.

We hope everyone nourishes their inner child as Helen does.
