Recommend a Friend.
As our way of saying “Thank You”, for recommending your friends and family to Care For Smiles, for each person referred, Care For Smiles will deduct $20.00 from the cost of your next visit. Please make sure your friends and family mention who recommended them to Care For Smiles, so that you do not miss out on your “Thank You” gift. There is no limit on the number of $20.00 “Thank You” gifts that you can collect; however, some restrictions apply:
The “Thank You” gift is not transferrable and must be used within 12 months.
The deduction occurs after payment of Private Health Insurance rebates and does not apply to bulked-billed items such as the Medicare teen dental voucher or treatments for holders of Department of Veteran Affairs (DVA) White or Gold cards.
Medicare Teen Dental Voucher.
The Australian Government introduced the Medicare Teen Dental Plan to help with the cost of an annual preventative dental check for eligible teenagers aged 12-17 years.
Your child would have recently received a Teen Dental voucher. At Care For Smiles your teenage child can expect to receive a Dental Consultation / Examination (check-up), 2 X-rays, Scale and Clean, and Fluoride Treatment and, of course, a Healthy Smile !
Care For Smiles bulk-bills Medicare for these services, therefore, there are no out-of-pocket or ‘gap’ expenses.

Regular Check-ups Save You Money.
The best way to lower the cost of dental care is to prevent dental decay and gum disease through maintaining good oral hygiene, including brushing and flossing.
Regular check-ups and early intervention are a relatively inexpensive way to avoid potentially future higher costs.
Depending on the individual, the Care For Smiles dentist will usually recommend patients return after 6 months or 12 months for a check-up and clean. For existing patients, the check?up and clean is performed at the discounted rate of $120.
