Cancellation Policy

Welcome to our practice, we respect and value your time. We have set aside time for your appointment.

If this is your first visit, you will be required to fill in a Medical and Dental History Form. Please allow 10 minutes prior to your allocated appointment time to fill in the form unless you have done so online.

We will send out an appointment reminder by SMS, email or phone call 24-48 hours prior to your appointment. If we are unable to reach you and confirm your appointment after multiple attempts, we may cancel your appointment and offer it to another patient.

We understand that circumstances do arise where it is unavoidable to cancel at short notice.

Please advise us as soon as possible if you cannot attend an appointment and we will gladly reschedule your appointment. This also allows us to offer your appointment to someone else who may need treatment.

For patients that have cancelled with less than 24 business hours’ notice, or who do not show for their appointment (Fail-To Attend), Care For Smiles may ask for a deposit of $100 to be paid when booking the next appointment. For patients that require long appointments, or family appointments or have previously failed to attend an appointment, a $100 deposit may also apply.

The deposit will be credited towards the treatment costs or refunded if more than 24 business hours’ notice is given of an appointment cancellation.

Please Note: A Fail-to-Attend fee or forfeiture of the deposit may apply for patients who fail to show for their appointment or cancel with less than 24 business hours’ notice.
